As framing finishes on the modules for our targeted LEED Platinum model homes, the factory is quickly moving towards checking to see that everything fits correctly. The modules are built individually. Their sizes are constrained by what can fit on a trailer, and be transported on a highway. So, once the framing on a module is done, the module is placed on top of, or next to its adjoining module before it is sent off to its destination.

This video shows the process that you go through while building a modular prefabricated home in a factory. A modular home refers to a construction method where housing components, such as entire rooms or individual modules, are constructed in a controlled factory environment. Individual modules are up to 90% complete and shipped from the factory to the home site.
